Wyndham Clark has made it to the second leg of the FedEx Cup playoffs. He will compete in the 2024 BMW Championship at Castle Pines Golf Club, Colorado. Clark is coming into the event with momentum as he finished T7 at the FedEx St. Jude Championship and T14 at the 2024 Paris Olympics golf event.

His participation in the Olympics raised eyebrows as some fans and media personalities believed he was not the best choice to represent Team USA. But Clark, defying all odds, carded a reasonable finish to the event. He scored -11 for the event despite carding a 75 on Day 1.

This result helped him gain confidence and ended all the speculation and criticism he had received before the start of the event.

“That definitely was a huge confidence boost for me because I know there was a lot of media talk about me being there and how bad I played and what not, and I wanted to prove to myself and my country that I’m a top American player,” Clark told the media at the 2024 BMW Championship.

“I played awesome golf. I don’t think anyone other than maybe Scottie played better golf than me those last three days. I just shot myself out of it the first round,” the American golfer continued.

Wyndham Clark feels his game is moving in the right direction, and he is picking up pace at the right time.

“Then last week was really solid golf for four rounds. I feel like my game is trending in the right direction at the right time,” he added.
