Golf fans disgusted with actions of Brian Harman at Players Championship
Golf fans have ripped into Brian Harman at this week’s Players Championship as a result of the time it takes for the reigning Open champion to hit the ball.

Harman, 37, has come under scathing criticism in recent times as a result of the amount of waggles he takes over the ball.

PGA Tour fans were recently annoyed by Harman over the length of time it took him to hit shots at the Sony Open in January.

Many were also miffed by his actions en route to etching his name on the Claret Jug at The Open last July.

Harman’s waggling over the ball is likened to that of Sergio Garcia’s back in the day.

Fast forward to this weekend at The Players Championship, where Harman surged into contention with a third-round 64 to move two shots behind Xander Schauffele, and he was once again up to his old tricks.

One irate fan posted a video clip of Harman eventually hitting a chip shot in the third round of The Players Championship at famed TPC Sawgrass. Scroll below to watch…

Harman took a couple of practice swings and then added 13 waggles before pulling the trigger on his chip shot.

“Exhibit A of why the Tour can’t finish rounds even after the time change,” tweeted a fan.

“Like the guy but can’t watch him.”
“Just hit the damn ball.”
“Oh wow, this is painful to watch.”
“It’s like watching a root canal.”
“I’m OCD but damn.”
“That is ridiculous.”
“It’s typically 12-14 waggles. Painful.”
“Anyone else have an anxiety attack while watching this?!”
