Scottie Scheffler had one of the most phenomenal seasons in golf history, winning seven titles on the PGA Tour. Additionally, this was the most lucrative season ever for any player, as he earned $54,228,375 from various events.

Scheffler’s success also significantly benefited his caddie, Ted Scott, who earned a substantial share from multiple events this season. For the uninitiated, a caddie typically receives a 10 percent cut from the winner’s share, seven percent for a top-10 finish, and five percent for other results.

Scott’s earnings from the 2024 season were approximately $5,238,499.57. The $2.5 million share came from the Tour Championship, where Scheffler secured a $25 million bonus. All of Scheffler’s wins came at high-paying events, which directly boosted his caddie’s earnings.

If Scott were a player on the PGA Tour, his earnings this season would place him 20th on the money list. Scheffler’s earnings also include $8 million from the Comcast Tour Top 10, but it is unclear what share Scott received from this.

Before joining Scheffler, Scott had a successful 15-year stint with Bubba Watson. After that, he was set to quit caddying before Scheffler convinced him to join his team in 2021.

Since 2021, they have been the best-performing golfer-caddie duo on the PGA Tour. Together, they have won two Masters, two Players Championships, an Olympic gold medal, and most recently, the FedEx Cup title. Additionally, Scottie Scheffler has been the World No. 1 golfer for more than 103 weeks now.
