Rory McIlroy will be participating at the FedEx St. Jude Championship which is the first tournament of the FedEx playoffs. Now, as the Irishman looks forward to the FedEx Cup events, he needs a caddie to assist him for nine holes at the St. Jude Championship. As a result, he has launched an online entry portal.

The BWT Alpine F1 Team has released a form on their website where the interested person can put their email, phone number, name, country and DOB to register for the caddie competition.

If the person is selected then the chosen bagman along with a plus-one gets to fly to TPC Twin Cities in Blaine, Minnesota. The flight tickets and accommodation will be facilitated, along with hospitality tickets at the FedEx St. Jude Championship, by the sponsors including Alpine.

The Instagram handles of Rory McIlroy and the Alpine F1 team shared a post conveying the offer:

Although McIlroy needs a caddie for the nine holes of the first FexEd Cup playoff event, he has a fixed caddie named Harry Diamond. He has stated no reason for his newly launched caddie search.

McIlroy is third on the FedEx Cup list and thus he is surely making an appearance at the FedEx St. Jude Championship as the top 70 on the FedEx standings get to play. Other golfers who are making it to the first FedEx Cup event are Scottie Scheffler, Xander Schauffele, Collin Morikawa, Tony Finau, Patrick Cantlay and Robert MacIntyre, among others.

There are also golfers whose chances at the FedEx Cup playoffs depend on the 3M Open and the Wyndham Championship, the last two PGA Tour events before the FedEx Cup playoffs, with the St. Jude Championship beginning on August 15. The golfers who are outside the top 70 but have a high chance of selection if they make use of these PGA events are Luke List (71), Lucas Glover (72), Lee Hodges (72) and Keith Mitchell (76), among others.
