Multiple PGA Tour winner and popular player Rickie Fowler has confirmed his wife Allison has given birth to the couple’s second child.
PGA Tour fan favourite Rickie Fowler has confirmed his wife Allison has given birth to their second child.
Fowler and Allison already have a daughter together called Maya.
Maya was born in 2021, two years after the couple got married. Fowler started dating the former track and field athlete in 2017.
On Saturday, the multiple PGA Tour winner took to social media to confirm they have had another little girl.
The couple have decided to call the latest addition to their family Nellie.
“Welcome to the crew Nellie,” Fowler wrote alongside of his family.
Fowler told reporters after the final men’s major of the year he was planning to take a break from the game as his wife was due to give birth.
The happy news explains his absence from this week’s Wyndham Championship.
The PGA Tour event, held at Sedgefield Country Club in North Carolina, is the final tournament before the FedExCup playoffs.
Fowler was ranked 104th in the standings and had a slim chance to qualify for the postseason before this tournament.
The top 70 players after the conclusion of this week advance to the FedEx St. Jude Championship.
But Fowler’s 2023-2024 season is now over and we will see him back on the fairways again in the fall.
Congrats, Rickie and Allison!
