Nelly Korda shares worrying update, withdraws from upcoming LPGA events

Nelly Korda recently shared an update about an injury she sustained while practicing golf. Korda last played at the 2024 Kroger Queen City Championship. She tied for fifth at the TPC River’s Bend.

A week ago, she took to Instagram and informed her followers about her upcoming schedule. She captioned her post “She indicated the two upcoming events in Korea and Malaysia. However, on October 14, the golfer took to X and announced that she would withdraw from the upcoming LPGA events. Nelly Korda wrote:

“Hey everyone, I wanted to share an update regarding my upcoming schedule. Unfortunately, I’ve had to withdraw from the LPGA events in Korea and Malaysia due to a minor neck injury I sustained while practicing.”

The next LPGA event is the 2024 BMW Ladies Championship scheduled from Thursday, October 17 to 20 at Seowon Valley Country Club, Seowon Hills, Republic of Korea. Malaysia’s event is scheduled from Thursday, October 24 to 27, at Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

She further wrote:

“I’m disappointed to miss these events and am especially sorry to my fans who were looking forward to seeing me play. I’m currently resting and working with my team to get better. Thank you for all your support—it truly means the world to me!”
