How much money Jon Rahm has earned this season on LIV Tour compared to Scottie Scheffler

Rahm shot a bogey-free four-under in his final round at LIV Golf Chicago to secure the prestigious honour.

The Spaniard clinched his second tournament win in three starts, despite Rahm being annoyed at the range in Chicago.

Legion XIII captain Rahm held off Torque GC Captain Joaquin Niemann at Bolingbrook, with the latter finishing T2 alongside Fireballs GC Captain Sergio Garcia.

Rahm also won at LIV Golf UK earlier this summer, and finished in the top 10 in all 12 regular-season events that he finished.

It has been a superb LIV Golf season for the two-time major winner, although it does fall short of the dominance Scottie Scheffler enjoyed in the PGA Tour regular season.

Scheffler’s earnings sit at $62,228,357 after his Tour Championship win in the FedEx Cup Playoffs, having earned $25million alone for his victory at East Lake.

Dan Rapaport has now reported Rahm’s figures for the season, with the Spaniard taking his earnings from LIV competitions to $37.9million.

He bagged $22million from LIV Chicago, with $4million going his way from the competition and $18million going his way for the season-long win.

Rapaport added that the total is in addition to the huge sum he received for joining LIV last December, with estimates of around $300 million for a multi-year deal.

How did Jon Rahm win LIV Golf Chicago?
Rahm was in formidable form at LIV Golf Chicago, perhaps fuelled by knowing that Niemann needed to finish ahead of him to win the championship.

But the Spaniard went bogey-free for the last 38 holes, with just one bogey on his card for the entire tournament.

Thanks to his superb display at Bolingbrook, the two-time major winner took his points tally to 235.17, almost 16 points ahead of Niemann.

Rahm’s compatriot Garcia meanwhile jumped up to third in the individual standings thanks to his performance, overtaking Legion’s Tyrrell Hatton.
