LIV Golf gives Anthony Kim another wild card spot for the 2025 season.
Anthony Kim is set to return to LIV Golf as a wild card for the upcoming season. This will be his second year in the league after joining as a wild card in 2024.
Kim had taken a break from golf for nearly 12 years before 2024, which generated a lot of excitement among fans when he made his comeback. Before his time away, he was seen as a rising star in the sport.
It will be exciting to watch Kim compete on the course this year. The first stop for LIV Golf in 2025 will be in Riyadh from February 6th to 8th.
Who else will be playing as a wild card alongside Anthony Kim this year?
According to LIV Golf’s official website, Anthony Kim and Max Lee from Chinese Taipei will both be wild cards this year.
Lee captured his first title on the Asian Tour at the International Series Thailand last October. He also won the LIV Golf Promotions event in Riyadh in December 2024, securing his spot on the Saudi-backed circuit for the upcoming season.
“That was my mindset right up to winning the International Series Thailand. That victory opened many doors for me. Even then, I wasn’t sure I would make it this week, so it’s amazing to be here, competing in such a strong field, and to go on and win,” Lee said.
He added, “This means a lot to me because I played on the Asian Tour for many years, and I think LIV Golf is the goal for every player.”
Anthony Kim, the other wild card, has mentioned that his wife pushed him to return to golf.
