One-time PGA Tour winner and YouTube golf star Wesley Bryan has been “suspended indefinitely” by the PGA Tour for having competed in ‘The Duels: Miami’ on LIV Golf earlier this month.
Tour pro and YouTuber Wesley Bryan has been “suspended indefinitely” by the PGA Tour for having participated in ‘The Duels: Miami’, according to Monday Q Info.
Bryan, 35, lost his full PGA Tour card last season but has been playing on invites as a past champion following his victory at the 2017 RBC Heritage.
That tournament at Harbour Town Golf Links at Hilton Hilton Island in South Carolina takes place on the PGA Tour this week.
Bryan was initally supposed to be competing in this week’s other PGA Tour event, the Corales Puntacana Championship, but those plans recently had to change after he was “suspended indefinitely” by the circuit.
The reason?
All because Bryan decided to rock up and play in The Duels: Miami, a YouTube match filmed during LIV Golf Miami just before The Masters.

Bryan played alongside LIV Golf star and two-time major champion Dustin Johnson.
They went on to finish fifth in the six-team event at Trump Doral.
Bryan’s brother George went on to win the event alongside record Ryder Cup points scorer Sergio Garcia.
The nine-hole scramble event was filmed on Grant Horvat’s YouTube channel.
The video went live the day after the event, and it’s since had 2m views.
Bryan and his brother George not so long ago started a YouTube channel called Bryan Bros Golf.
The Bryan Bros have very quickly grown in popularity and the channel has amassed more than 500k subscribers.

According to Monday Q Info, Bryan is staying at the Puntacana Resort this week with his family and sharing a rental home with PGA Tour member Ben Martin and his family, despite no longer being able to play in the tournament.
“We had this vacation planned for months, so I decided we would still come down,” said Bryan.
“It’s been a long time since we had a family vacation where golf wasn’t involved.”
Monday Q Info reports that Bryan was placed on probation the day after The Duels: Miami was announced in March.
The report adds: “According to multiple sources, all of the creators were informed through a third party that there was potential for disciplinary action from the PGA Tour, including being excluded from any PGA Tour-affiliated events and content going forward.
“Multiple sources say the threats were later withdrawn except for the potential disciplinary notice to Bryan.
“Bryan was suspended the day after The Duels match was posted on Horvat’s YouTube channel.”

When asked by Monday Q Info whether he had any regrets competing in The Duels: Miami on LIV Golf, Bryan replied: “No, I don’t have regrets.”
Bryan continued: “That video is one of the most powerful videos in YouTube golf.
“We are going to continue to support Grant and grow the game through YouTube.”
Bryan is now going to appeal his suspension and will follow all PGA Tour guidelines set in place.
