British Open 2025: Final-Round Tee Times at Royal Portrush

July 19, 2025 – Royal Portrush, Northern Ireland
Everything is on the line Sunday at the 2025 British Open — the claret jug, the title of Champion Golfer of the Year, and a $3.1 million winner’s purse.

All eyes are on world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler, who enters the final round with a commanding four-shot lead. He’s been nearly flawless this week, and Saturday’s bogey-free 67 only solidified his dominance. Scheffler is chasing his second major of the year and would move one step closer to completing a career Grand Slam.

Rory McIlroy, the hometown hero, remains six shots behind. While the crowd support has been electric, the gap will require a monumental effort to close. “It’s absolutely incredible to play in front of these fans,” McIlroy said. “I’m just so excited to get one more day to experience it.”

Scheffler will tee off in the final group alongside China’s Haotong Li. McIlroy is paired with England’s Matt Fitzpatrick in the penultimate pairing.
