Ryder Cup 2025: Fans React to Food and Drink Prices at Bethpage

Golf fans heading to Bethpage Black for the 2025 Ryder Cup are learning exactly what their pricey tickets will get them — and how much they’ll be paying if they want a drink.

General admission for the playing days is around $750, a jump of roughly $500 compared to Rome in 2023. To soften the blow, organizers introduced the Ryder Cup+ program, which includes unlimited food and non-alcoholic beverages for all grounds ticket holders.

That means spectators can repeatedly visit designated “markets” around the course for drinks like Pepsi, Gatorade, or bottled water, as well as hot and cold entrees such as ham on ciabatta, vegan salads, breakfast biscuits, Italian sausage, grilled chicken sandwiches, cheeseburgers, and hot dogs. Snacks include chips, cookies, and snack bars.

The official Ryder Cup site confirms there’s no limit to the number of visits — though it warns that excessive use or attempts to share benefits could result in a suspension of privileges.

Alcohol Costs Extra

While food and soft drinks are covered, alcohol remains separate. Prices are steep:

  • Michelob Ultra – $15 (16 oz) / $18 (25 oz)
  • Premium beer – $16–$19
  • High Noon Tequila Seltzer – $16
  • Moët & Chandon Imperial Brut – $22
  • Cocktails – $17.50 to $19.50 (including the “All-American Transfusion,” made with vodka, grape, ginger, lime, and soda).

Tickets on the Secondary Market

For those still looking to attend, tickets are available on resale sites but come at a premium. A three-day pass (Friday–Sunday) is listed at around $4,300, while single-day tickets for Friday start at $1,200. Practice rounds are much cheaper — Wednesday entry has dropped to around $105, and Thursday tickets are now hovering close to that price after originally being set at $250.

Between the high ticket prices, premium food program, and costly alcoholic options, fans will be digging deep into their wallets — but they’ll also enjoy one of golf’s most iconic and electric events.
