Reality Star Mocked for Filming Bikini-Clad Motorbike Crash Aftermath in Thailand

British reality TV alum has sparked outrage online after documenting the aftermath of a violent motorbike crash in Thailand — all while dressed in nothing but a bikini.Chanse Corbi, 24, who appeared on Season 4 of Love Island USA, was touring Chiang Mai on a rented motorbike when disaster struck.

Despite never having ridden before, she felt confident thanks to Thailand’s relaxed traffic laws and had been riding without incident for a week. But on a trip to the region’s famous Bua Tong “Sticky Waterfall,” Corbi and her friend Connie hit what she described as a “massive pothole in the middle of the freeway.”

The crash sent Connie flying off the back while Corbi was pinned beneath the bike, skidding nearly ten feet before coming to a stop.“I broke my foot, my sunglasses cut my eyebrow, and the skin was stripped almost entirely off my left leg,” Corbi recalled, adding that doctors later warned she nearly needed a skin graft.

Connie wasn’t spared either, breaking her ankle in three places. Both women were rushed to the hospital, where Corbi received stitches and Connie’s injuries were stabilized before she was flown to Italy for surgery. Corbi remained in Thailand for weeks, undergoing repeated treatments for an infected leg wound.

“At one point they had to slice the infection off without any pain medication,” she said.Yet instead of keeping a low profile, Corbi turned the ordeal into content. She posted clips of herself laughing through the injuries, dabbing at her wounds in a red bikini, and later unwrapping her bandages to show off the damage — all while promoting the swimwear brand she had on at the time, complete with a discount code for followers.“At least I didn’t lose my leg,” she captioned one video, assuring fans she is now much better. The posts drew fierce backlash. Critics slammed her for prioritizing content over care, for wearing revealing clothing in conservative Thailand, and for seemingly treating a serious accident as a joke.“Filming this in underwear in public, bleeding, and adding music… Humans! Wow,” one commenter wrote. Another scolded: “Maybe next time you won’t ride a motorcycle in your underwear.

What are you trying to prove?”Corbi admits she “definitely should’ve worn more than a bikini,” but insists she’s grateful she at least had a helmet on. “It was cracked on the left side,” she said. “Without it, I know I wouldn’t be here to tell this story.”Despite the criticism, the influencer says she has learned to laugh at the situation.

“People would see me covered in bandages and just assume I was another tourist who crashed a motorbike,” Corbi said. “And honestly, I found it kind of funny too.”
