Charlie Woods continues to build quite the highlight reel. On Sunday, the 16-year-old son of Tiger Woods added another hole-in-one to his résumé—this time at the famed TPC Sawgrass during the Junior Players Championship.
Fans may recall Charlie’s first ace came last year at the PNC Championship while playing alongside his father. This latest one, captured on camera and shared by the American Junior Golf Association, came on the par-3 third hole of the Stadium Course.
“HOLE-IN-ONE! Charlie Woods adds his name to the #JrPLAYERS history books with an ace on No. 3,” the AJGA posted on X (formerly Twitter), along with footage of the moment.
Despite the shot’s significance, Charlie reacted with trademark calmness—though his grin while posing for a photo next to the cup gave away the excitement.
The ace was another milestone in what’s shaping up to be a standout year. Woods has already won the AJGA’s Team TaylorMade Invitational in May, qualified for the U.S. Junior Amateur in July, and posted a top-10 finish at the Junior PGA earlier in August.
At Sawgrass, he closed with an even-par 72 to finish T-31 in the prestigious event, held at the course where his father captured his first U.S. Amateur title in 1994. Miles Russell went on to win the championship by two strokes.
