Kurt Kitayama secured his second PGA Tour title at the 2025 3M Open at TPC Twin Cities in Blaine, Minnesota. After barely making the cut, Kitayama produced a stunning 60 on Saturday and closed with a 65 on Sunday to finish at 23-under-par 261. His one-stroke win over Sam Stevens earned him $1.512 million from the $8.4 million purse.
Stevens finished solo second at 22-under, taking home $915,600. Matt Wallace, David Lipsky, Pierceson Coody, and Jake Knapp shared third place at 20-under, each earning $410,025.
Akshay Bhatia, who started the final round tied for the lead, fell to T-25 after shooting 75, while Thorbjorn Olesen closed with a 73 to finish T-14.
Kitayama jumped from 110th to 57th in the FedEx Cup standings, clinching a playoff spot, while Stevens improved from 44th to 27th.
