Keegan Bradley shares his interesting perspective on the whole LIV Golf situation.

It’s a complex thing, really.

He’s got to pick his team for the Ryder Cup later this year and the whole thing is still, well, a mess.

He’s pretty steadfast in his PGA Tour loyalty, though  Bradley, a mainstay on the PGA Tour since his breakthrough year back in 2011, is gearing up for the 2025 Ryder Cup.

That’s at Bethpage Black, so there’s a lot of pressure. A lot of tough decisions. But despite all of that, he seems to genuinely root for his friends who’ve moved to LIV. He’s got no real beef with them  He mentioned it during a chat on the Subpar podcast when asked if he might ever jump ship.

“I’m a PGA Tour player, “he said simply. “I like where I am. But I have a lot of really close friends on LIV and it’s been something that’s got everyone talking, hasn’t it? “

He continued by saying he was glad the guys who left are doing well and providing for their families.”I have no ill will towards them,”he said.”I root for them every week.”

He wants them to succeed, whether that’s making the cut or finishing high up the leaderboard  He’s played with so many of his idols already; he isn’t planning on leaving not at all.

He also loves events like the one at Hilton Head. The RBC Heritage is a classic tournament, an iconic course. It’s got a good feel to it, you know? He seems to prefer the more traditional type of golf. And to be fair, the Ryder Cup team selections could get very interesting. Six players will automatically qualify.  Then Bradley will have six wildcards.

Right now, it looks like Scottie Scheffler Xander Schauffele, Collin Morikawa Justin Thomas and Russell Henley are good bets, along with Bryson DeChambeau, who’s the reigning US Open champ and plays on LIV now.

So, in theory he could pick guys like Brooks Koepka Patrick Reed or Dustin Johnson as those remaining wildcards. He’s planning to just pick whoever plays the best.

Their tour affiliation doesn’t seem to matter. He mentioned he’ll take the twelve best players. If there are some LIV guys, maybe one or two and he’ll pick them  It’ll be fascinating to see how this all unfolds
