The tournament has shifted locations from Mayakoba to Club de Golf Chapultepec in the heart of Mexico City.
At this point in the season, Joaquin Niemann of Chile is leading the individual standings, followed closely by former Masters champions Sergio Garcia and Jon Rahm.
Garcia’s team, the Fireballs, is currently in the lead for the team element, with Rahm’s Legion XIII in second place and Cameron Smith’s Ripper in third.
The excitement kicks off on April 25th. Two years ago, former PGA Tour pro Charles Howell III emerged victorious at LIV’s Mexico stop, while Niemann claimed the title last year.
Both Niemann and Howell walked away with $4 million for their wins, which is the same amount the champion will receive at the end of the tournament on Sunday.
As per tradition, LIV Golf Mexico boasts a total purse of $25 million, with $5 million being split among the top three teams. GolfMagic has provided a breakdown of all the payout details below. Be sure to stay tuned to find out how much each player takes home.
