8 LIV Golfers officially invited for the 2025 Masters Tournament ft. Bryson DeChambeau & Joaquin Niemann
Though they still don’t get OWGR points, LIV Golfers are not prohibited from playing in the Major tournaments. They can secure invitations through other means, and many of them have been invited for the 2025 Masters.

Winning the 2022 Open Championship, which happened just before he defected to LIV Golf, got Cameron Smith entry into the next few Masters. He is also eligible for this year because he was in the top 12 last year.

Dustin Johnson won the 2020 Masters, giving him a lifetime exemption. Otherwise, he has no other path into the Major tournament. He won the 2016 US Open, but his exemption based on that expired years ago.
6) Tyrrell Hatton

Tyrrell Hatton will play in the 2025 Masters. He qualifies thanks to being within the top 50 of OWGR for the previous calendar year. He’s currently ranked 16th, so he’s been able to play some events to offset LIV outings not granting points. He also qualifies thanks to a top-12 finish last year.

Thanks to his 2004, 2006, and 2010 green jackets, Phil Mickelson can always play in the Masters. He also qualifies by virtue of winning the 2021 PGA Championship, which got him extra protection through 2026, but he won’t ever need that.
4) Brooks Koepka

Brooks Koepka won the 2023 PGA Championship, which secured entry to the Masters Tournament through 2027. All PGA champions are automatically in for five years, otherwise Koepka would need another way in that he currently does not have.
3) Joaquin Niemann

Joaquin Niemann doesn’t automatically qualify on any of the criteria, but he has a special invitation from Augusta National. This is handed out to those who warrant an invitation but don’t qualify on their own. Other LIV Golfers will likely get these as well.
2) Jon Rahm
Jon Rahm has a lifetime invitation as a former champion (2023). However, he also qualifies by being a US Open champion and by ranking in the top 50 of OWGR for the previous calendar year. Rahm was second when he defected and has slid to 26th now.
1) Bryson DeChambeau
Bryson DeChambeau automatically qualifies for the Masters this year through four different routes. All US Open champions, which DeChambeau is, get in. The top 12 from the last Masters, which DeChambeau also is, get in as well.
